  • Cornerstone Kitchens
Cornerstone provides lunch for many of the homeless in the downtown area every Tuesday and Thursday. This ministry currently averages about 80 in attendance and continues to grow.  Come and serve the homeless on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 12:30 – 1:30 PM, (Our desire is not simple to “provide” a meal but to serve the homeless who attend. The purpose is to provide a personal-touch of care and concern)
  • Dallas Soup Kitchen

In May 2008 The Stewpot became the partner agency for meal services at The Bridge Homeless Assistance Center, just three blocks south of The Stewpot. While The Stewpot’s meal service moved to The Bridge, all other client services for the homeless continue to be provided at The Stewpot.  Volunteers dish up a delicious, nutritious meal prepared by The Second Chance Cafe Kitchen staff served cafeteria style.  Volunteers also pour beverages for our guests once they are seated.

  • Donations to Seminary Students

Luke’s Closet provides clothing, linens, and small household items to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff who temporarily do not have adequate resources to provide enough for their family’s needs.  Luke’s Pantry provides food to currently enrolled students who temporarily do not have adequate resources to provide enough for their family’s needs.

  • The pantry, located in Plano,  is specifically designed to give food to the part of the local population that would normally go undernourished. Here at God's Food Pantry we deal with destitution in a way that allows the client to keep their self-esteem at a turbulent time in their lives.
