  Affiliated with the Richardson Home Scool Associationand dedicated to the promotion of chess, the Chess club meets in Richardson. Come and join our Chess Club, which meets once a month, every 2nd Saturday of the month, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Heights Rec Center (SW corner of Arapaho and Floyd Roads in Richardson * 972-744-7850). Players of all levels are welcome. Bring your chess sets. Parents can stay for the club meetings. The club also sponsors chess tournaments in the area from time to time. There are weekly chess classes that meet on different days of the week for chess players to choose from, including the Beginner Chess class on Monday nights and the Advanced Chess class on Thursday nights, both at the Heights Rec Center.  RHSA Chess Club Coach, Dwight Patterson at 972-761-7976 or email him at teach_chess@yahoo.com.
