Every year, PEACH offers a $500 college scholarship to an outstanding graduating Senior member of PEACH.
Below is a brief overview of application requirements. We have added notes on our volunteer requirement for clarification.
Eligibility criteria (documentation required).
1. Original Transcript
• Verifies good academic standing
• Verifies completion of at least 30 semester hours
• Verifies overall GPA of at least 3.0 out of a 4.0 system
(less than 3.0 not eligible)
2. Verification by a homeschool parent (refer to Section II on page 2)
• Includes verification of official enrollment
• Verifies 12 current semester hours or more
3. Service to PEACH through volunteering, leadership, or other
contributions.
*Please note that service with Trail Life or American Heritage Girls is not service for PEACH; we are looking for instances where the student has served PEACH as an organization through volunteering, leadership, and other contributions.
For example, we have had students lead clubs, organize field trips, volunteer at the PEACH Rummage sale or at Kickoff, or set up and clean up after PEACH meetings (such as recital, chili cook-off, game nights). * Beginning in 2024-2025 we will have volunteer sign-in sheets at events to aid in verification, but demonstration and notes on ways your senior has served PEACH is still a part of the application process. (i.e. You can't say, "see sign-in sheets" 😊)
4. Letter of Recommendation (from an adult non-relative): Indicate
candidate's strong points and why you feel he/she should receive an
award.
Student Narrative: On a separate sheet, please complete the following in
500 words (not to exceed 2,000 words) and attach it to your application.
1. Describe your relationship with the Lord.
2. Describe your future aspirations (what and why).
3. Briefly describe your current extracurricular activities over the last
two years as follows:
a. Volunteer involvement for PEACH
b. Volunteer/humanitarian and extracurricular activities; and
c. how they relate to your future aspirations and objectives (i.e.,
work experience, school activities, call to ministry, etc.).
4. Describe why you believe you should be awarded this scholarship
(i.e., career goals, financial need, etc.)
Mail completed application postmarked no later than May 10 to:
